The NOVA Board Game Group is officially cancelling public Game Nights for the following dates/locations in coordination with the Arlington Public Library:
- March 19th (Thursday) @ Central Library
- March 23rd (Monday) @ Cherrydale Library
- April 2nd (Thursday) @ Central Library
- April 6th (Monday) @ Aurora Hills Library
We will continue to monitor the local government and stay in communication with the Arlington Public Library throughout the next few months. These game night cancellations are also reflected on the Arlington Public Library website. If we feel the situation has changed, we will notify everyone via email about resuming our regular gaming schedule.
We did not make this decision without great thought and conversation among many individuals. Considering the nature of tabletop games, we realize both the close confinement of groups of people and the tactile nature of our hobby could work against local efforts to contain an outbreak of the Coronavirus virus. Plus, we care deeply about our community and every member of our loyal group of gamers. Our hope is to return to our regular schedule as soon as possible.
