Last Night on Earth is a cooperative horror themed board game. A team of four heroes is chosen by one set of players, and the Zombies are controlled by 1 or 2 players. Each hero has its own special abilities. The board is modular, which changes the layout of the town and start positions of each hero. The game comes with several scenarios, which include simple survival, rescue, or escape. Players work together to avoid the Zombies, escape the threat and live through the night.
The game does have a small learning curve but nothing too intimidating. After a brief 15-minute run through of the rules, players can typically get started with confidence. Since it is cooperative, you can all help each other and everyone’s turn becomes a team turn.
