WashingCon is an annual local Board Game Convention for the DMV area. If you love board games like we do, you have to go! This year, 2019, will be the 5th year of this convention and promises to be the largest one ever! WashingCon takes place on September 7th (Saturday) and September 8th (Sunday) this fall at the Georgetown University Hotel and Conference Center (3800 Reservoir Rd NW Washington, DC 20057). Not only does WashingCon have a vast and varied library of over 500 board games you can check out and play at the convention, but it also has dedicated areas for RPG gaming, board game tournaments, a family and children gaming area, and plenty of game design and discussion panels.
